Heritage Society - Planned Giving

The Heritage Society is the Planned Giving Recognition Society of the Kappa Delta Rho Foundation.  We gratefully acknowledge and recognize those brothers, family, and friends who have made provisions to benefit the Foundation through their estate plans.

Estate gifts are gifts that provide a benefit to the Kappa Delta Rho Foundation at death. These types of gifts may include:  Wills; Life Insurance; IRA/401(k); and Trusts. 

Perhaps the simplest way to include the Foundation in your estate plans is to name the Foundation as a beneficiary on a life insurance policy, perhaps one provided by your employer?  To do so only requires completing a change of beneficiary form from your HR department or the insurance company.  You should also know that you DO NOT have to name the Foundation as the beneficiary for the entire policy.  It is possible to name several beneficiaries to each receive a percentage of the proceeds.

The same process applies for your IRA or 401(k) plan.  When you are requested to name one or more beneficiaries you can include the Kappa Delta Rho Foundation.
